Description
Saturday is market day!
Around the Moorish-looking market halls with their characteristic onion domes, which are the center of Loulé, farmers from the region join them every Saturday.
Here you will find countless stands selling everything the region has to offer: sausages, fruit, vegetables, herbs and of course the treasures of the Algarve - honey and olive oil.
Baskets, hats, bags, and other handcrafted items also await you at the market. Fresh produce is also available for purchase in the market halls on weekdays.
Explore the town of Loulé itself, which has much to offer with its many small shops, shady squares, churches, and town park. Enjoy a coffee in one of the numerous cafés or visit the Moorish castle behind the market halls with its beautiful courtyard.
