The pretty town of Obzor divides the Black Sea coast into northern and southern sections.
The Greeks already appreciated the beautiful location, which allows a wide view over the coast. In the hills behind Obzor there are remains of a Roman fortress, and also in the local park some stumps of columns bear witness to the ancient past.
In the summer months the place with its eight kilometer long sandy beach is a popular holiday destination; then there is a hustle and bustle in the streets and alleys - without losing the charm of a small town.
The main square of the small spa town is worth seeing, as is the Church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1904.
