After lunch at your hotel for the night, explore the extraordinary mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza by Land Rover. Admire the tenacity of the palm trees clawing their way through the rocks and the murmur of the natural waterfall in Tamerza. A wonderful setting that is worth making a small detour for!

In the footsteps of Luke Skywalker, you will visit the film location of "Star Wars" and then return to the hotel to recharge your batteries for the next exciting day of excursions.

After breakfast on the second day, you'll experience a breathtaking drive across Chott El Djerid – Tunisia's largest salt lake! Here, mirages often create the illusion of palm groves or even camel caravans. They conjure life where reality barely allows it. Welcome to the realm of mirages!

In Douz-Zafraane, the last base of the caravans, the Sahara begins - the largest sandy desert in the world. Enjoy the ride on the back of a rocking desert ship (optional, payable locally, approx. 50 TND) into the seemingly endless sea of ​​dunes.

On the way to Matmata, drive through the famous lunar landscapes and then visit a classic cave dwelling where people still live today. Before you start the return journey towards Djerba, you will have lunch.
