Description
Experience the north of Fuerteventura – discover Corralejo and Cotillo – enjoy a typical lunch and taste wine at the Bodega Conatvs
When you visit Fuerteventura, you will enjoy a landscape full of contrasts between endless beaches and the volcanic interior of the island.
After being picked up from your hotel, you'll immerse yourself in a sandy landscape until you see the famous Cuchillos de Vigán—a mountain range along the island's east coast—until you reach the beautiful dunes of Corralejo. Here, you'll have time to photograph the view of Isla de Lobos, the contrasting turquoise waters, and the sand volcano in the background.
Visit Corralejo with its piers, bars and restaurants along the coast.
For lunch, visit a unique restaurant in the center of the island, where you can sample typical Canarian dishes such as papas arrugadas con mojo and goat meat, finished with gofio mousse.
Further inland you will see small villages founded by the Majoreros until you reach the west coast, where you can enjoy free time in El Cotillo.
Tostón Castle, a former defense tower against pirates, is now a historical monument.
But the island offers more than just beaches and sunshine. Grapes are also grown in the driest areas, producing a wine that can only thrive in these temperatures. This is why Fuerteventura wine is so exclusive and is best enjoyed with an "enyesque" (Canarian tapas).
The order of stops may vary.
