Description
The guided tour of Destilerías Arehucas, founded in 1884, offers an insight into the traditional production process of these rums, which are so closely linked to the history of the Canary Islands, as well as a tour through one of the oldest rum cellars in Europe with around 5.000 barrels made of American white oak.
This journey through the heritage of rum in the Canary Islands takes about 1 hour and consists of 5 stages:
- The origins of Arehucas
- Visit to the aging cellar
- Learn more about the rum production process and visit the mill as well as the fermentation and distillation rooms.
- bottling plant
- Tasting of a selection from our diverse range of rums and liqueurs
At the end of the visit, products from Destilerías Arehucas can be purchased.
