Description
Leisurely bike ride to Ayagaures & Tapas
Discover timeless Canarian villages and enjoy a delicious tapas lunch.
This e-bike tour is ideal for leisure cyclists who want to explore the island's interior at a relaxed pace – including a winding descent that requires basic riding skills. The route leads through quiet mountain villages, past the Ayagaures Valley, to the Meloneras lighthouse, and ends with a traditional tapas lunch in a cave restaurant.
Route
We start our guided e-bike tour at the Free Motion Bikecenter in Playa del Inglés. The climb begins gently – the electric motors do the work while we cruise along in a relaxed manner into the tranquil hills of Monte León. At an altitude of 490 meters, we reach the Cima Pedro González viewpoint and enjoy the panoramic view of the mountain landscape.
Then comes the descent: winding, exciting, and safe – thanks to disc brakes and a guide setting the pace. We ride through the charming village of Ayagaures and down to "La Cuevita," a unique cave restaurant where we enjoy authentic Canarian tapas together. Refreshed and full of impressions, we continue our ride to the coast, stop at the Meloneras lighthouse, and finally cruise back to Playa del Inglés.
