As a tour guide (m/f/d) your main task is to look after German-speaking holidaymakers from arrival to departure at the airport, in the hotel and/or from our destination office and to provide them with advice and support. YOUR TASKS AS A TOUR GUIDE (M/F/D):
- Welcoming and caring for our German-speaking travelers directly at the airport – ensure a smooth start to your vacation.
- As a first point of contact in the hotel or virtually by phone/email, you can ensure personal and customer-oriented support.
- Professionally edit all guest concerns, from flight and hotel rebookings to complaints up to individual customer requests.
- Use yours sales talent and arrange excursions and rental cars to ensure our guests have an unforgettable holiday experience.
- Offer Support in emergency and crisis situations and provide our travelers with helpful information.
- Close exchange with local partners, hotels and our service team – ensure seamless communication and high service quality.
YOUR PROFILE
- Communication strengths: You can communicate in a friendly and clear manner with guests and partners and are not afraid to speak in groups.
- Linguistic proficiency: Fluent German and good English skills are a must; additional language skills are an advantage.
- High service orientation: They enjoy providing travelers with a pleasant holiday experience and providing them with advice and assistance.
- Solution-oriented: Even in challenging situations such as strikes or flight delays, you keep a cool head and find pragmatic solutions. You are prepared to adapt to changing situations - without looking at the clock.
- Team spirit: You enjoy working in an international environment and value collaboration with local colleagues and partners.
- Flexibility: Changing working hours and weekend shifts are no problem for you – you like the varied daily work routine in the target area.
- cosmopolitanism: You are willing to change location each season (winter/summer) and adapt to new cultures and work environments.
- IT affinity: You are confident in using common software applications and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems.
IT AWAITS YOU
- Permanent Swiss employment contract – benefit from low social security contributions and a 5-day week
- Industry standard remuneration: Your starting salary will be between €500 and €700 net per month, depending on your qualifications. This will be supplemented by a monthly guaranteed commission of €450 net, additional sales commission with no upper limit (where applicable), and a meal allowance of up to €375 net (where applicable).
