Description
Go on a cruise and let the sea breeze waft your face
After a leisurely boat trip on the Ionian Sea, you'll pass Lakka on Paxos. The stunning surroundings will captivate you, as will the view of this typical fishing village. Afterwards, you'll reach the mysterious grottoes in western Paxos.
As far as possible, the captain drives into the caves so that you can photograph the stalactites up close. Around noon the ship reaches the small island of Antipaxos, which is famous for its dreamlike crystal clear water. The boat anchors near the beach - if you want, you can jump into the refreshing water and swim to the wonderfully fine sandy beach.
Afterwards you will have shore leave in Gaios, the capital of Paxos or Lakka, a picturesque small settlement in the north of the island. Here you have the opportunity to stroll, browse, or fortify yourself in one of the numerous small taverns (lunch not included) before you start the journey back to Corfu.
