Description
The gateway to the Orient
In just one day you will experience two continents: Europe and Asia.
Asia Minor awaits you in Bodrum with the oriental atmosphere of a Turkish port city. Only a few kilometers separate Europe from the coast of Asia Minor.
Upon arrival at Bodrum Port, you can (optionally) take part in a scenic drive with a photo stop - your Turkish guides will be waiting for you.
Visit the magnificent St. Peter's Castle, built around 1400, with the prison, the underwater museum and the glass museum, which is one of the most important in the world (each with an entrance fee).
In ancient times, Bodrum was one of the seven wonders of the world, the enormous tomb of King Mausolus. Since then such buildings have been called mausoleums. Remains of the tomb can still be visited today.
But Bodrum also opens its modern doors to you. In the bazaar, you can haggle to your heart's content while shopping for inexpensive leather goods, sporting goods and souvenirs.
Or you can listen to the call of the muezzin, which sounds from the mosques, marvel at the beautiful wooden ships in the harbor and enjoy one or the other delicious Turkish specialty in one of the outdoor restaurants.
Note: Depending on your country of origin, you will need an identity card or passport to register and participate. Please note that you are leaving the EU and minors can only participate in the excursion if accompanied by a legal guardian.
