The first stop is the Asklepion, one of the most important healing places of antiquity - quasi the first hospital in world history - which was dedicated to the god of medicine, Aesculapia. The modern healing method of Hippocrates was used here for the first time. Then it goes on to Zía, a charming mountain village with whitewashed houses. There you can expect a fantastic view of Kos and the neighboring islands. During a stroll through the village you also have the opportunity to try a cinnamon syrup drink to quench your thirst and to buy spicy vinegar, oils and honey as a souvenir.
Depending on the route, visit to the village of Pyli with its legendary fountain, the bay of Kamari and Kefalos, a mountain village famous for its weaving and embroidery. Finally, a stop at the still functional Antimachia windmill. From there the journey goes back to your hotel.
