Description
The Dragon Caves
The Caves of Drach are located on the southeast coast of Mallorca, in Porto Cristo, a former fishermen's house in the municipality of Manacor.
You will walk through the cave, passing thousands of stalactites and stalagmites, covering a distance of around 1200 m and reaching a depth of 25 m. The temperature inside is between 17 ºC and 21 ºC.
There are several lakes in the caves, including Lake Martel, named after the speleologist who first crossed it, Edouard Alfred Martel. Lake Martel is one of the largest underground lakes in the world: 117 m long, 30 m wide. After a live concert, you will cross this impressive lake by boat or on foot across a bridge.
Visitors are required to always follow the instructions of the staff and are not allowed to leave the group or touch the rocks.
