Description
From the farmers’ market to Cap de Formentor – a day full of contrasts!
In the morning you visit the colorful farmers market in Sineu. A typical village, as there are still many inland. On market day, the stalls with fruit, vegetables, household goods and Mallorcan ceramics wind their way through the town. But there are also enclosures with donkeys, goats, pigs and chickens on the market square, which the farmers around Sineu sell and buy. Here the deals are still sealed with a handshake.
The afternoon is dedicated to the northern tip of Mallorca, Cap Formentor. The boat trip between Porto Pollenca and the beach of Formentor offers you a constant interplay of colors: the sea from deep blue to turquoise, cliffs and cliffs from gray to almost white. You will immediately notice that this corner of Mallorca is not as lovely Mediterranean as the rest of the island. In the North Cape, the elements rule like in hardly any other area of the island. The pine trees that still stand here are true survivors. Here rain, wind and waves have imposed their shape on the landscape and the coast.
On the beach you can enjoy a 60-minute break to hang out and relax before you head for the panoramic drive to Cap Formentor. The convertible bus * takes you from the beach to Puerto Pollensa. The highlight of this tour is the photo stop at one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the island: Es Colomer.
Diversity that always surprises!
* In the event of rain or bad weather, the convertible bus is replaced by a closed bus.
