The European Commission's Civil Aviation Safety Regulation applies to all departures from airports within the European Union, and since March 1, 2009, also from Turkey. This regulation limits the amount of liquids that travelers may carry in hand luggage through security checkpoints. There are two restrictions on the amount of liquids in hand luggage: Travelers may only carry liquids in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml. All liquid containers must be presented at security checkpoints in a plastic bag (maximum capacity: 1 liter). This bag must be transparent and sealable. Airports are not required to provide plastic bags for travelers...

Dear guests,
To ensure that your holiday starts smoothly and relaxingly, we have compiled all the important information for you on this page regarding your arrival at the airport in your holiday region.
Arrival at Cancun Airport
Arrival at Cancun Airport
Where do I need to go after arriving at the airport?
Upon arrival at Cancun Airport, you will complete immigration formalities and collect your luggage. You will proceed through customs toward the building's exit. There, you will pass a number of transfer companies and taxi stands. Please proceed through the exit, where your DERTOUR Group tour representative will provide you with further information about your booked transfer. Alternatively, you will find representatives from the local agency "fidem travel" waiting for you. They will be identified by a sign bearing the DERTOUR Group tour operator logo.
Caution: Please do not be tempted to take a transfer by so-called "taxi pirates." These transfers are not organized by the DERTOUR Group and will not be reimbursed. These "taxi pirates" will usually intercept you inside the airport and pretend to be communicating with our airport staff by phone. Only employees carrying a sign with the DERTOUR Group's operator branding will assist you and direct you to your transfer bus.
Even if you have a connecting flight, you must still collect your suitcases from the conveyor belt and leave the arrivals building with your luggage.
You are not using your booked transfer?
In this case, please inform the DERTOUR Group tour guide or our airport staff to avoid waiting times for other passengers.

What can I do if I can't find anyone at the airport?
Please go to the designated meeting point first. If you don't find anyone there, please contact us at:
How long does the drive to the hotel take?
Please note that the duration of a shared transfer varies depending on traffic volume and the number of hotels being visited. There may also be a wait at the airport until the transfer departs. This depends on the number of arriving guests scheduled for the transfer.
General information on transfers to Isla Mujeres, Isla Holbox and Cozumel
For organizational reasons, arrivals after the times listed below must spend the first night on the mainland. Furthermore, a hotel stay on the mainland may be necessary at short notice after arrival due to bad weather conditions.

- Land transport in an air-conditioned vehicle from Cancun hotel or airport to the port in Playa del Carmen
- Water transport by boat from the port in Playa del Carmen to Cozumel
- Assistance at the ferry terminal in Playa del Carmen and Cozumel
Transfers to Isla Mujeres (arrivals until 20 p.m.)

Water transport can only be done by regular ferry, as the small fishing boats that also offer this service are too unsafe and therefore a crossing is dangerous.
