Nudity is not only considered very bad behavior, it is also forbidden! "Topless" can now be seen at pretty much every pool or beach in the hotels, but it's still frowned upon and also forbidden on public beaches.

During the first few days of vacation, it is advisable to avoid excessive sunbathing, especially around midday, and to use a sunscreen with a high SPF. Always wear a hat!

It is also advisable to wear bathing shoes on pebbly beaches. Do not take valuables and only small amounts of money with you to the beach.

The Turkish Riviera offers a variety of beaches with different characteristics: from the wide, gently sloping sandy beach with a wide range of services to narrow pebble beaches with crystal clear water to small, romantic bays that can only be reached from the sea. In many hotels the use of beach chairs and umbrellas is included; otherwise you can rent loungers, cushions and umbrellas on almost all beaches.
