Description
A scenic excursion into antiquity
The breathtaking coastal road takes you to Demre, where St. Paul's last meeting with his apostles took place. In the well-preserved basilica, you'll find the tomb of St. Nicholas, known and revered for his charity to the poor (museum entrance fee: €17, not included in the price).
Then visit the ancient city of Lmyra with the famous Lycian rock tombs and the ancient theater. Find out more about these mysterious, awe-inspiring tombs and why people aimed so high after they died.
After lunch, take a relaxing boat ride across the crystal clear waters to Kekova Island, a romantic ancient site: half submerged in the sea, with columns rising out of nowhere and sarcophagi standing in the sea.
If the sea is rough, the boat trip will be skipped and the ancient city of Phaselis will be visited instead.
