A scenic excursion into antiquity

The stunning coastal road takes you to Demre. There the last meeting of Saint Paul with his apostles took place. In the well-preserved basilica you will find the tomb of Saint Nicholas, known and revered for his charity to the poor.

Then visit the ancient city of Lmyra with the famous Lycian rock tombs and the ancient theater. Find out more about these mysterious, awe-inspiring tombs and why people aimed so high after they died.

After lunch, take a relaxing boat ride across the crystal clear waters to Kekova Island, a romantic ancient site: half submerged in the sea, with columns rising out of nowhere and sarcophagi standing in the sea.

If the sea is rough, the boat trip will be skipped and the ancient city of Phaselis will be visited instead.
