Modern, urban and popular
The popular holiday resort of Belek is named after the Roman village of Beletos and is located on a beautiful, long sandy beach in the middle of a nature reserve with lush green eucalyptus forests.
Because of its special location, the region around Belek has been significantly expanded in terms of tourism in recent years.
Luxurious hotels and various golf courses of international standard were built over a length of 20 kilometers. Due to the construction of the hotels, Belek and the neighboring town of Kadriye gradually expanded, many shops, restaurants and cafés were added. Great importance was attached to a modern, urban appearance.
