The Antalya Aquarium, newly opened in 2012, is one of the largest in the world. Seven million liters of water in 40 thematically different aquariums and around 40.000 sea creatures await visitors. The world's longest aquarium tunnel with a length of 131 m gives the visitor the feeling of standing in the middle of the aquarium. The snow world, which extends over 200 m², offers cooling off from the summer heat. Here there is snow, igloos and a Santa Claus Café, which is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00 h is open. Every year from May to November you can admire an impressive exhibition of sculptures made of sand and water at Sandland right on Lara Beach in Antalya (International Sand Sculpture Festival; daily from 10:00 – 23:00 h open).
