Kairouan
The UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded by the Arabs in 671 and is the spiritual and religious center of Tunisia - and the fourth holiest city in Islam after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. You will see the courtyard of the Sidi Oqba Mosque, the most famous and oldest mosque in the Maghreb, as well as the Sidi Sahbi mausoleum.
As soon as you enter the medina through the main gate Bab Echouhada, you will feel overwhelmed by the liveliness of the streets, the many shops and cafes. You will see the impressive 9th century Aghlabid water basin.

El Djem
The Roman amphitheater, which once held over 40.000 spectators and was the scene of sporting events and gladiator fights, is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of El Djem. It is the third largest amphitheater in the world and is well preserved.
Sousse
Visit the third largest city in the country, which is both a renowned seaside resort and a city steeped in history.
Completely surrounded by an impressive city wall from the 9th century, the impressive medina invites you to stroll, shop and haggle.
