A cultural journey of discovery
Experience the cultural diversity of Djerba on this interesting half-day excursion, which will take you to some of the island's most important religious and cultural sites.
Their first stop is the Fadhloun Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Djerba and an impressive testament to traditional Djerbian architecture.
Afterwards, you will visit – if open (the synagogue is not open to visitors on Jewish holidays) – the famous La Ghriba Synagogue, one of the most important Jewish places of worship in North Africa with a centuries-old history.
Next, we go to Djerbahood, an extraordinary open-air museum where international street artists have transformed the white house facades into true works of art – a unique cultural highlight of Tunisia.
Take a relaxing break in Houmt Souk. Enjoy a traditional mint tea or a refreshing lemonade, accompanied by Tunisian pastries, in an authentic atmosphere right in the heart of the vibrant old town.
Afterwards, you will discover the Maltese Church of St. Joseph, a symbol of Djerba's multicultural heritage.
Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the city, where you can stroll, haggle, and discover local crafts.
The return to the hotel will take place around 13:30 h.
