Description
Spend a day with sun, wind and sea
According to legend, you will be accompanied by Poseidon and 1 of his most beautiful nymphs, the Nereids, during the approx. 50 hour boat trip from Kos to the island of Kalymnos.
The island is known as the "island of sponge divers", a craft that has a long tradition on Kalymnos. You can find out more by visiting a family business.
Afterwards you have the opportunity to take a stroll through the port city of Pothia or to enjoy the atmosphere from one of the typical Greek coffeehouses.
On the way to the island of Pserimos we make a stop near the small uninhabited island of Plathi. There the crystal clear, turquoise water invites you to take a dip in the cool water.
After the bathing stop we reach Pserimos, the island of only 11 km² and 80 inhabitants with its inviting sandy beach is considered the jewel of the southern Aegean.
There is plenty of time to swim and explore the island before boarding again in the afternoon.
