Description
Discover Kos on a journey full of secrets!
Our island tour is the best way to get to know Kos. During the tour, your guide will tell you everything you need to know about the island and its inhabitants. And along the way, you'll see and explore the most beautiful landscapes and villages of Kos.
The first stop is the Asclepion, one of the most important healing centers of antiquity, dedicated to the god of medicine, Asclepius. It was here that the modern healing method of Hippocrates, who had already recognized the importance of the psyche in the treatment of illness in ancient times, was first applied.
Continuing your journey, you'll visit an oil press, where locals process their annual harvested olives into olive oil. You can browse and shop at a small museum with a farm shop.
Afterwards, the route continues uphill to Zia, a charming mountain village with whitewashed houses and a fantastic view over Kos and the neighboring islands. Here, you will visit a Greek taverna where you can watch the preparation of the famous "moussaka" while enjoying a glass of ouzo.
Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the village, try the island's typical cinnamon syrup, and buy souvenirs.
Through the green Dikaios Mountains we pass through small villages to Pyli with its legendary well.
On your way to the south of the island, you will visit a beekeeping operation where another specialty typical of Kos is produced: thyme honey. Here you will have the opportunity to taste the different types of honey and sweets.
In the far south of the island, above the former island capital of Kefalos, lies the authentic village of Mylotopi. From here you can enjoy panoramic views over the bay of Kefalos and end the afternoon with a walk or a refreshing drink.
