Get to know the diversity of Crete!

This excursion takes you to the south coast of Crete, to the famous hippie town of Matala and to Rethymnon.

The first destination is the picturesque village of Agios Mironas. Visit the small chapel of Saint Mironas, which impresses with its unique architecture.

The journey continues to the idyllic south coast and the small village of Matala. This is where the flower children once sought peace and quiet in their lives in the 60s.
Spend a relaxing lunch break in Matala. Enjoy lunch in one of the charming tavernas, swim in the crystal-clear sea at the edge of the rocky landscape with its famous caves, or stroll through the picturesque streets with their many small shops selling handicrafts.

The next stop is the mountain village of Spili with its impressive Venetian fountain with 25 lion heads.

The excursion concludes with a visit to the beautiful port city of Rethymnon, with its many Venetian-style buildings. Stroll through the numerous narrow streets or relax with a coffee on the impressive harbor promenade.
