You'll drive along the lava coast with views of the Salinas de Janubio salt flats. Marvel at the vibrant colors of the various salt pans. The green crater lake, right on the beach near the small fishing village of El Golfo, makes for a fantastic photo opportunity.

In the Fire Mountains, you'll be immersed in a completely different world. Here, it's impressively demonstrated that the volcanoes are still very much alive. A tour along the "Ruta de los Volcanes" (Volcano Route) will teach you the history of Timanfaya National Park. You'll be enchanted by the vibrant colors of this unique landscape. The crater tour vividly illustrates the volcanic eruptions of that era.

In Yaiza, awarded several times for its beauty, you will enjoy a traditional lunch (optional, not included in the price).

During a small wine tasting in a traditional bodega you will learn about the special way of cultivating wine on Lanzarote (for an extra charge).

Passing the former capital Teguise, you'll travel through the small town of Haria and the Valley of 1000 Palms to one of César Manrique's most important works of art, Jameos del Agua. This cave, formed by a volcanic eruption, has been transformed into a true work of art, uniting nature and culture. It features a concert hall with fantastic acoustics, and in a crater lake, unique in the world, live small white crabs whose origin remains one of the great mysteries.
