Every Sunday, this otherwise sleepy town is pulsating with life. There is a lively hustle and bustle at the many stands.
All shops are open, folklore groups perform in various squares in the city and give you an insight into the traditions that are still alive on the island.
The medieval architecture of the old town is also worth seeing. The church, the adjoining Spinola Palace or the two monasteries are definitely worth exploring.
