Description
Hiking on Madeira in a completely different way
Experience a hike that offers you breathtaking panoramas and unforgettable landscapes!
In contrast to the usual levadas, a magnificent view awaits you here, characterized by rather sparse but fascinating vegetation. Look forward to spectacular views along the wild, romantic rocky coast on the western tip of the island. In winter, the landscape shines in fresh green, while in summer it offers a rather dry, yet impressive picture.
The hike takes you over stepped cobblestone paths, rocky trails and volcanic rock passages. The impressive cliffs and small, steep ascents and descents are always rewarded with breathtaking views and panoramas: admire the lighthouse on the Ilhéu do Farol and the Desertas Islands offshore, and on a clear day you can even see as far as Porto Santo.
Enjoy a well-deserved rest at the Casa do Sardinha and let yourself be enchanted by the surroundings.
In summer, it is highly recommended to pack your swimwear so you can cool off now and then. Sun protection is just as important as sturdy shoes so you can enjoy the hike to the fullest.
The hike takes about 3 hours and is also suitable for families with children.
Embark on this unforgettable journey and be inspired by the beauty of nature!
