Description
Get to know Tenerife in a special way
Your journey begins in minivans heading northwest. After a brief stop at the Mirador de San Pedro viewpoint, offering magnificent views of the coast, the tour continues to Icod de los Vinos with its charming old town and the majestic, oldest dragon tree in the world. Passing through Garachico, destroyed by lava during a volcanic eruption in 1706 and now an interesting artists' colony, the route leads to Masca, the former pirate village. Take in the wonderful tranquility and scenery amidst the Teno Mountains.
You will enjoy lunch near Santiago del Teide.
The journey continues via Chio up to the Cañadas del Teide National Park, where you will be impressed by the lava fields and extremely bizarre rock formations such as the Roque de Garcia, also known as the "Finger of God". A stop at the Mirador de La Palma viewpoint will offer you a view of the neighboring island of La Palma, weather permitting.
On the way back to Puerto de la Cruz you drive through the famous Orotava Valley and visit the town of La Orotava, where you will visit the House of Balconies.
