The Holy City

Today's UNESCO World Heritage Site Kairouan was founded by the Arabs in 671 and is the spiritual and religious center of Tunisia and the fourth holiest city in Islam.

Admire the courtyard of the Sidi Oqba Mosque and the Sidi Sahbi Mausoleum (Important note: Please dress appropriately.).
