Hiking through Madeira's natural paradise

A wild expedition that combines a jeep safari with easy levada walks.

Visit the second highest mountain, Pico do Arieiro, by off-road vehicle. Experience the Laurisilva forest near Ribeiro Frio with amazing views over mountains and valleys and a distant blue sea in the background.

Cross the mountains by 4x4 until you reach the wild northern sea at Porto da Cruz. Take a walk along a "levada", one of the many irrigation canals that irrigate our land. Drive to the far east side of the island, to Porta de São Lourenço in Caniçal.

A wonderfully varied day with beautiful viewpoints and short hikes. Fun and variety for the whole family!
