Get up close to whales and dolphins - with Rota dos Cetáceos
Rota dos Cetáceos is a company specializing in dolphin and whale watching on the island of Madeira.
All whale watching tours are accompanied by a team of marine biologist. Before each trip there is a short introduction where you will learn all about these majestic creatures of the Atlantic.
Then the adventure begins! Twice a day (each lasting approximately 2,5 hours), the speedboats depart from Funchal and head out to sea.
There are shore-based staff who guide the boats, which are fully equipped to observe wild dolphins and whales, from the viewing points to the animals. During your trip you can observe a wide variety of dolphins, whales and turtles in the sea off the island of Madeira.
